On 12-16-07 Madilyn really began perfecting the art of rolling from back to front; and now it is non-stop. It literally happened overnight that she got much better at it! What this meant was a night of her rolling in her crib when we were trying to get her to sleep and therefore she could not get herself to sleep. She loves rolling, and usually rolls immediately when we place her on her back, but often gets frustrated because she is "stuck" there which is ironic because weeks ago she perfected front to back rolling!

She has begun to touch her feet and legs while holding them in the air when she is on her back and while on her stomach has started to reach for toys that are near in proximity to where her hands are (still cannot reach too far as she hasn't mastered the art of leaning on one arm so that the other can be free of weight to get the toy).

Madi has also been sticking out her tongue making noises with her tongue and lips while babbling (blowing raspberries we guess it is called), it is very cute! She has giggled more when we just do silly things and has become more ticklish. She also loves colors, pictures in books and 3D toys, etc.

Madi loves watching us when we eat; we think she is soon ready to start on baby cereal, but we are waiting until all trips cease so she doesn't have so many new stimuli to get used to at once.

We leave Thursday AM for DC. We are so excited!!!!!
