Madilyn started swim lessons last Sunday with our friend Sadie in the Little Shrimp class. We met many great parents and kids that day. We have 6 more sessions. Madilyn practiced splashing, kicking, going on her tummy and back while in the water and we tried to catch toys as they floated around the water. We played humpty dumpty, ring around the rosy, pass the baby, and many other fun games...did we fail to mention she purposefully went under water??? Madi was extremely tired after class and immediately fell asleep...that is, until we had to take off her wet suit and dress her. She was once again happy when she saw another swim buddy yawning which brought her joy and made her giggle out loud.
She loves being in the water and we are glad she had a fun first class.
