Madi Updates May 2008

• While kneeling or standing she tries to turns to go from one object to another (i.e couch, activity table, etc)
• pulls her hat off, but not when its backwards
• screams in protest
• explores everything and everywhere
• loves to hold onto toys even if there not actually toys....i.e. steve's g-shock watch. (Madilyn held Steve's watch for hours on end, literally, holding it while playing with other toys)
• chases nala around the apt
• looks for things when they are taken away or dropped
• sleeps 10 hrs a nite, no waking up
• takes 2 good naps
• loves to be with other's but can occupy her own time by playing by herself
• loves her leap frog table
• has different expressions and has different smiles for different reasons
• Stands, pulls self up
• climbs on her own up the chair, using knee
• poses for pics when she wants to
• hold one object in each hand, bangs them together
• bangs objects on multiple surfaces to compare/experiment
• crawls with object in her hand
• stand on knees no hands
• starting to learn how to stand with no hands, turn & pivot by us when we walk around
• holds her bottle, sometimes with only one hand
• can walk when we hold both of her arms/hands
  
  Over memorial weekend Madilyn went on her first carousel ride and went to the Zoo for the first time
