Madilyn lets us know what she wants. Last night, for example, she pushed away the bottle, flipped over so she was laying her head on my should (does this each night) but then tried to get away from me. Steve and I held her and said good night to her (as we do each night by the side of her crib while holding her) and she leaned in toward the crib (rarely does this) to show she wanted to go in. She laid down and fell right to sleep ~ EARLY. Madilyn is usually very good at falling right to sleep after getting confortable.
We are busy preparing for Madi's FIRST birthday! While we have not taken anything for granted, the time still has flown by. Madilyn is a great great girl and has amazed us in many ways. It is so wonderful to see how she has changed and grown in this short amount of time. We look forward to her great life ahead. Also, what shocks us, is how much she seems to understand, her humor, etc, even though she cannot speak and is only 11 months old!
