Last weekend we went to see Steve's Grandma in Massachusettes.
This past weekend we got together with friends, went to Sandy Hook beach in New Jersey, and went to a baby's 1 year old birthday party (Madi had chocolate cake in honor of her friends birthday). Tonight we saw Uncle Andrew and Kari - it was fun!
Madilyn is eating beans, meat loaf, ground turkey, smoked and regular cheese, ground beef, tofu, noodles, peas, etc. She has been babbling-stringing words together as if she is having a "real" conversation.
Madi is becoming even more independent (which she has always been). She still likes to be held, and likes to play with us, but she is very good at playing alone. If we hold her hands to play patty-cake she pushes our hands away so she can do it herself. She likes to feed herself and doesn't love being fed by spoon anymore.
Our brother, Daniel and his wife Sarah are expecting a baby Girl very soon (next month), we are very excited!!!
