We just got back from a GREAT and QUICK trip to MN. Madi saw grandparents, great grandparents, uncle/aunts and great uncles, and our friends Maia and Matt. Madilyn was great on the plane ride there and back. We had a 3 hour delay on the way home and she couldn't have been any better, she slept for some of it, walked around the plane, talked (babbled) to passengers!!!! It was hilarious at times when she would walk up to random people and look them right in the eye and start babbling. She was also great on the 45 minute cab ride home.
We had a great time with everyone and wish we could do it more often. It was nice to be back home where it is a bit more calm and where memories flood back so quickly. We went to a tot shabbat service, lunches, dinners, MOA, she got new shoes, new clothes and many new pictures. Pics will follow soon!
Updates: Madi knows to switch an item from one hand to another to leave one arm free while getting dressed, and if she doesn't remember and we say "switch hands" she does so. She knows to lift the foot we tap when putting on her socks or shoes. She allows us to wipe her nose and face without issue and knows to give us her hand when she sees we want to wipe them clean. She loves to wave at people and make faces until they look at her. She nods yes and no, mainly no in response to questions. She loves when we read to her and she loves to hold books still. She has tried chopped liver recently and loves it. She also loves cheesecake, but who doesn't??
