Madilyn has been naming things she sees and mentioning people who aren't even in the same state. For example she calls for grandma, papa, Amy, all in Mn, and her teacher Kally who is out of town too.
Madi has been repeating words we say, and can finish "1, 2 buckle my ____" and she'll say shoe "3, 4 shut the ____" and she'll say door. And so on.
Madi likes bathtime again. For a month or so she didn't like it, scared we would wash her hair. One night, on the 22nd, she had a great time again in the bath. So we decided that for a few days we would not do her hair (not that we do it daily anyway) so she would have positive experiences in the tub again. We invited her to put water on her head herself, since she seems to have no water fears, we think she just doesn't like when we do it A) because she is all about control right now and B) she knows when to close her eyes when she is the one doing the pouring.
Being parents is really the best, all the changes she goes thru, the "love-dislike-love again" spectrum...So much fun!!
