Been too long...many updates

Update 1)
Madi started a new school. Long story short, her old school was bothersome to us on many levels for quite some time, Madi wasn't herself there, they were not doing/saying developmentally appropriate things in her room (examples: they took away her Tiger which she uses for comfort on day 1 of her new classroom. We found out that the school was going to transfer head teacher to another school under same management right as children were getting used to her, then director asked me who hey should make head teacher of the teachers at the school. They do coloring sheets instead of letting her use her own creativity. We picked up early one day and saw the end of an art project, they told her where to put the eyes and nose of Cow instead of letting her do as she felt compelled. Last straw, we got yelled at by director because we ask her questions, she doesn't have time, it isn't her job, etc. Of course, there were many more stories)

Madilyn started a great new school a week ago Monday. We have been thrilled. Madi has been so much happier, we can tell a HUGE difference. We love the way the school is run, we love the size of the school. We already had a school picnic on the rooftop playground of the school and we got to meet other parents and see Madi interact with her teachers, truly telling of how much happier she truly is.

At school we hear she stops to smell flowers on the rooftop playground, makes sure her friends have books or toys to play with. The first few days she picked on one of the smallest children by taking food from his breakfast and lunch plate and stealing his toys. We are happy to report they are now great friends !!!!!

Update 2)
Madi can now jump and actually get feet off ground

Update 3)
Madi went apple picking for first time on Saturday the 26th with Grandma Abelson, Aunt Joanne and me (steve was in Mn for holiday). She loved it, picked apples, ate apples, went on hayride, tried Cider (didn't love it) and it was beautiful weather

Update 4)
Madi holds her ukulele and thinks it is a guitar. She holds it correctly and stands, makes faces, and makes up songs.

Update 5)
Madi sings most letters of ABC's and tries to count her fingers. She mentions all correct numbers, but out of order. A couple times she does say some numbers in correct order.

Update 6)
When Madi wants us to sit with her she points to ground and says "sis down" she cannot say sit!

Update 7)
Madi picks up everything. One of her new teachers calls her arms "chicken" Madi walked around today and said "chicken" while pretending to eat her arm, sound effects and all!

Madi is such an expressive girl, she is picking up more and more phrases and really cracks us up when she knows we are watching her. She really puts on shows for us. She waves to people she passes. She loves to shake hands and say "meet you".

More later, this is some to get you started,
The Abelsons
